A few months ago, I took my two kids to our very first Milwaukee Brewers game, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
Thanks to a great military discount, we got in for cheap and had amazing seats right behind the dugout. My son, who’s 6, and my daughter, who’s 4, were wide-eyed the entire time. From the moment we stepped into American Family Field, the excitement was off the charts.
They got the full Brewers experience, cheering, dancing, and even high-fiving the mascot from our seats. My son scored a Brewers t-shirt and some swag, and he wore it proudly for days after. I honestly think he felt like part of the team.
It was one of those days where everything clicked, the crowd was electric, the weather was perfect, and the kids were having the time of their lives. Both of them still talk about the game all the time, asking when we can go back.
As a dad and a veteran, seeing my kids fall in love with the Brewers the way I did? That’s what it’s all about.
